Remember how I was comparing the post-novel headspin to tinitis?
Well, it wasn’t anything to do with finishing the WIP, or at least not completely. I ended up with an ear infection.
I won’t go into details in case you are eating.
A doctor’s visit and $80 later, aside from the stabbing headpain and the leaking ear, things are back to normal.
Writing like a maniac, and loving it.
How about you?

Glad to hear you’re doing better – what are you working on now? Wish I could be writing but feel oddly burnt out (until the middle of the night, when I REALLY want to write, but know that if I succumb to the urge I will never regain normal sleeping patterns).

Sounds like your brain needs some time retraining :) Are you a shift worker?

Yes, what are you working on now? Great that you’re still finding time even with visitors!

I’m working on a longish short/short novella. I think it would fit urban fantasy or new weird? I hate genre classifications. Doing 350 a day, which is just 3 pages in my little A5 notebook :)

Very cool, 350 sounds like a good number. Am totally with you on genre classifications! Hate them!

Tinitis sucks, so I’m glad it was something curable. I’m also wondering if anyone has done a correlation study on how often a person gets sick after wrapping up a major project?
